These images were chosen and what it says about our country is that they were very inspiring to many people not just in The United States of America, but all over the world. It lead to the United States establishing principles that are in the American Law today.



The Statue of Freedom was designed by Thomas Crawford. It is located on the top of the Capitol Dome.The statue is bronze. It is 19 1/2 feet tall. The statue is a female. She holds a sword on her right hand. She also has a shield that has The United States Great Seal on it.












The relief portrait of Thomas Jefferson is important because he was one of the founding fathers.He was also the author of The Declaration of Independence and was also the 3rd president of The United States. Thomas Jefferson served in the Continental Congress.
